The Fit for Life program is designed to give people the opportunity to get fit and enjoy walking/running in a structured environment. Participants set their own goals and are assisted by fully trained Fit for Life Leaders in the Club. The emphasis is on improving fitness in a fun, sociable environment and no previous experience is required. All ability levels are catered for and participants exercise with others of a similar fitness level.

The training nights are on Tuesday and Thursday at 7 p.m, outside Sixmilebridge National School, for 1 hour, and on Saturday morning at 8 a.m.

BMOH Athletic Clubs Fit4Life Programme is growing from strength to strength with some Fit4Life members having gone on to run 10k’s/Half marathon’s and Marathons.

Our next Couch to 5k (C25K) for complete beginners is starting Tues April1st 2014.

    Hi Tom,

    Good morning, are you well,

    Will there be still a Fit of Live training, or has everything been put on hold for the 10d marathons event?

    I suppose next week I’ll be as normal training rota as possible.

    On Saturday morning at 8 am I turned up for the training opposite centra, but no one was out thee, waited there till 8.15 and than went running on my own towards Cratloe, up hill towards Woodcock Hill, tough hike/run.
