Sixmilebridge 10K Results

SERGIO CIOBANU retained the Sixmilebridge 10k in fine style on Friday evening in a hard fought out battle with current National Marathon Champion Sean Hehir with Jake o Regan putting in a massive performance in third ahead of B.M.O.H runners Keith Lynch and Jame Liddane. Sergios winning time of 30:43 however did not break the course record which will stand for another year at least.

In the ladies race there was a First and Second for Ennis Track with Anna Crooks beating Grace Shallo and Liz Glover in third from Limerick AC. The masters prizes went to Mike Cunningham of Mooreabbey Milers and Lorna O Neil from Kilmurry Ibrickane. The club would like to take this opportunity to thank the efforts of the organising committee, the pacers, the 400+ runners, the stewards, all our sponsors and of course all those who provided and served the feast after the race.
